ActiFry is the world's first deep-fryer capable of making a kilo of crunchy golden French fries with just one spoon of cooking oil. With a large viewing window so you can oversee the cooking, and a non-stick, removeable bowl for easy cleaning, the ActiFry is convenient and easy to use.
The Actifry has an odourless filter which means that your kitchen will stay as fresh as it was when you started cooking. The Actifry really does what it says. I purchased the Tefal Actifry recently & I am really impressed with it, the chips are marvellous. I think the Actifry is quicker because you don't need to be as careful to coat each chip with oil, and you don't have to turn them.
The chips really do taste like they have been deep fried and take about 40 minutes to cook. It comes with a recipe book that indicates you can cook lots of other things in it, such as chicken, but even if you only make chips I'd say it is a good buy. I've also used it to cook Aunt Bessies frozen chips and it does a far better job than the oven and only takes about 25 minutes.
The beauty of this fryer is that it uses incredibly negligible amount of oil for frying chips and other items and this is what makes it stand out from the traditional deep fryers.
